Old penny-in-the-slot, working models and novelty games from the piers and arcades of the British seaside towns. Models include - The Beauty Parade and the Hauted Grange. This unique collection houses machines from the early 1900s to 1960. The many models include the famous laughing sailor, the haunted church yard and the English Executioner. They are all operated with old english pennies that stopped circulating in 1971. These are readily available to buy at the museum, so the machines can be played and enjoyed.
