A small family owned business making exquisite individual hand painted decorated figures, animals and birds continuing the tradition of pottery first established in Rye by medieval potters in the 12th and 13th centuries whilst our own direct roots date back to the 18th century on Cadborough Cliff. Known the world over for The Canterbury Tales figures and of course The Sussex Pig, we are continually adding new pieces to our ranges so do come and visit us in our Wish Ward shop where we also produce charming hand painted tiles for kitchens and bathrooms.
